Unforgotten

Unforgotten is an ITV crime drama that follows a dedicated team of detectives as they reopen long-buried cold cases. Each investigation uncovers layered personal histories and emotional truths, revealing how the past continues to shape the present.

As Senior Video Editor on the titles for Season 4, I shaped the opening to reflect the show’s patient search for truth. The sequence unfolds through a curated montage of purpose-filmed symbolic imagery, cut with careful pacing to echo the rhythm and restraint of the investigation. I edited the visuals to connect closely with the theme tune, aligning story and emotion so the atmosphere builds before the first scene begins. A muted, contemplative colour grade adds weight and cohesion, grounding the titles firmly within the world of the drama.
