Unforgotten

Unforgotten is an ITV crime drama that follows a dedicated team of detectives as they reopen long-buried cold cases. Each investigation uncovers layered personal histories and emotional truths, revealing how the past continues to shape the present.

As Senior Editor for the Season 4 titles, I shaped the opening to reflect the show’s patient search for truth. The sequence unfolds through a curated montage of purpose-filmed symbolic imagery, cut with careful pacing to echo the rhythm and restraint of the investigation. I edited the visuals to connect closely with the theme tune, aligning story and emotion so the atmosphere builds before the first scene begins. A muted, contemplative colour grade adds weight and cohesion, grounding the titles firmly within the world of the drama.
