Art of the Title | Top 10 Title Sequences of 2022

I was deeply hands-on throughout the creation of the title sequence for Bad Sisters, shaping every stage from the earliest concept, to writing and directing bespoke scenes, and carrying that vision through to the final edit.

The sequence features “The Prick Trap,” a meticulously crafted Rube Goldberg‑style machine built from props and handmade contraptions drawn straight from the world of the show.

Every kinetic beat, from rolling taxidermy eye to spinning knife-laden lampshade, was designed to reveal character and narrative clues while echoing the series’ darkly comic tone. Working hand‑in‑hand with the creative director, prop-makers, producer and DOP, I ensured each element contributed to a suspenseful rhythm that sets the stage for the story to come.

The result is a title sequence that doesn’t just introduce a show, it invites viewers into its tangled world with wit and visual storytelling at every turn. The accolades it received are a testament to the creative collaboration behind it.
